3 days 2 Nights Tours From Marrakech To Merzouga Desert

DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – TODGHA GORGE

Departure from Marrakech towards the South, and from there to the port of Tizi n’Tichka that reaches its maximum point at 2,260 m. During our trip towards Ouarzazate, we will visit the Glaui and the Taourirt Kasbahs, that later was home for the members of the Glaui Dynasty and their servants. We continue towards the ‘’Valley of the Roses’’ and the town of El -Kalaa_M’Gouna, famous for its manufacture of rose water. During the route towards Ouarzazate you will visit the Glaui, and a place named Taourirt that was shelter to the members of the dynasty Glaui and its servants.. From here, we will go through the Gorges of Dades, then continue through Dades’s Valley, (route of the thousand Kasbahs) where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the oasis and the palm groves, the numerous Kasbahs and the landscape of the Middle Atlas. We will arrive to the Todgha Gorge where we will spend the night in a hotel.

DAY 2 : TODGHA GORGE – MERZOUGA

The departure from the Todgha Gorge, towards the dunes of Erg- Chebbi. We will visit the villlages of Tenjdad, Tourog, and Jorf, on the way to Erfoud (Entrance door to the desert) and go over a track of land where Paris- Dakar rally took place. We will go through mountains with fossils and arrive at the Erg Chebbi (Merzouga) desert, to walk with camels and sleep in the desert in traditional Berber tents (Bivouac) made out of camel wool. There we will have dinner, and then watch the sunset and the beautiful starred sky.

DAY 3 : MERZOUGA – MARRAKECH

In the morning we will enjoy breakfast and the sunrise from the great dune then travel to Ouarzazate from which we go towards the famous Ait Ben Hadoo kasbah, where they have filmed many movies including La Momia, Babel, Gladiator, and many others. The day finishes in Marrakech.
